The London Health Trainer Hub provides advice, assistance and practical help for health trainer programmes across London. There are eleven other regional Health Trainer Hubs in England all supporting health trainer services across the country. The Hubs evolved from the health trainer early implementer sites.
The London Health Trainer Hub brings together people leading on, managing or co-ordinating health trainer work in London to share information, ideas and learning. The Hub's services are geared towards supporting programmes at all stages of development, from initial planning to delivery and evaluation.
The Hub encompasses all aspects of health trainer work whether delivered by Primary Care Trusts, local authorities, community and voluntary sector organisations and the private sector.
The Hub also works alongside third party partners involved in health trainer programmes. Third party partners include the public sector, such as the fire service, as well as not-for-profit organisations and private companies.
The London Health Trainer Hub Leads are Graham Rushbrook, Andrew Billington and Caroline Ellis of RBE Consultancy Limited.
